The Last of the Mohicans

During this week we will be exploring War in Northwest Ohio. In preparation for the week, we have watched The Last of the Mohicans. The movie the Last of the Mohicans is a powerful story of the struggle to survive. We use this movie to analyze what happened here in Northwest Ohio. What do you think about the alliances formed with the indigenous people and the different groups? Did these alliances ever benefit the indigenous people of the Americas? What do you think? Why or Why not?

  2. That alliances hadn't worked for the indigenous people to protect their territory. Whichever side they took with, it wouldn't be helpful to them. Because somehow western countries tried to conquer the America.

  3. I really want to see this movie. But I think it's unfair to drag the indigenous people into a war that isn't theirs. So I think they should not had picked a side at all. And these alliances never benefit the indigenous people at all.

  4. The movie had a great story. It was sad that the Mahicans had to deal with it in the bad way. Wars did not solve anything but it was a trajectory of people losing each other in the name of lands wars.
